Wayne was a member of the National Youth Theatre of Wales and has a BA Hons in Drama & Theatre Studies from   the University of London. His early work was at the Bloomsbury Theatre in productions of What the Butler Saw and Batman –The Last Re-run in which he played Super Villain “the Riddler”.  He also appeared in the West End production of the musical South Pacific, which toured the UK and Japan.

In 1991, he was in the original cast of John Gore’s production of Thunderbirds FAB - The Next Generation and appeared in three West End seasons (Mermaid, Ambassador and Apollo Theatre), as well as national and international tours to Japan, Australia and Holland.

He toured Turkey, Lebanon and Japan in a production of The Three Musketeers (Mime Theatre Project), played the intrepid Commander Harry Pepper in Fantastical Voyage, which toured Holland, Finland, Oman, Lebanon, Taiwan and the UK and also co-wrote and performed in Spittoon - a Western, which toured widely in the UK and Europe (Company Gavin Robertson). 

Film and TV credits include an appearance in The Phantom Menace and 22 episodes of Gerry Anderson’s Space Precinct, in which he played a variety of guest Aliens of the week!

In the last five years he has been focussing on his career as a voice over artist. He works widely in animation and has also recorded numerous radio plays for the BBC including A Clockwork Orange and a new cast recording of Dylan Thomas’s Under Milk Wood for Radio 4, where he actually performed with a digitally re-mastered Richard Burton! 

He plays the voices of Rockit the frog and Roly Mo the cuddly storytelling Mole in 300 episodes the Children’s TV shows The Fimbles.  This hugely popular show received two BAFTA nominations and Wayne’s character received his own spin off show - The Roly Mo ShowBoth are currently showing daily on BBC TV and Cbeebies channel. 

He is also the voice of the indestructible hero in Gerry Anderson’s epic 26 part CGI animation series The New Captain Scarlet showing on CITV.

In the animation series -The Likeaballs   (Cosgrove Hall Films) he again plays captains, this time of two opposing alien football teams (now showing on CITV).  He is Dad in the animation series Horrid Henry, based on the popular children’s books by Francesca Simon, and is the voice of Zebedee for the new series of The Magic Roundabout. These shows will be out in 2007.

Wayne Lives in West London with his French wife Béatrice and young daughter Amélie. He is a keen private pilot and in his spare time he enjoys flying light aircraft, his preferred mode of transport.
